Discover the full richness of wine and food pairings during a gourmet and convivial experience at the Vignoble du Haut Escaut . In the heart of our aging cellar or in the vineyards, depending on the season, let yourself be guided through a workshop where each bite reveals a new facet of the wine.

Guided by the estate's sommelier, you'll learn why some pairings work perfectly while others create an imbalance in flavors. A sensory experience that will give you the keys to successful pairings for your meals and receptions.

🍷 Introduction to food & wine pairings led by the estate's sommelier.

🥂 Tasting of 5 carefully selected wines , mixing wines from the Upper Escaut Vineyard and wines from other regions in order to compare styles and pairing possibilities.

🍽️ Gourmet pairings around specially prepared appetizers to accompany each wine. Mature cheeses, charcuterie, smoked fish, local produce and other gourmet creations will illustrate the different families of pairings.

🌿 Immerse yourself in the heart of the estate , with the discovery of the aging cellar and its ceramic vats, or a stroll through the vineyards if the evening is spent there.

An experience that is as delicious as it is educational.

Throughout the workshop, you will discover:

• Agreements of complementarity and contrast.
• The influence of textures, aromas, and seasonings.

Interactions with the estate team will also allow you to discover the winemaker's profession, the work in the vineyard, the winemaking and the aging of the wines of the Haut Escaut Vineyard.
